Misty Halloween Brunch at Peterley Manor

On Saturday, again, I slept at a different friend's place. It was Andreas this time, where we all gathered together and had a great night! Good food and we laughed a lot :)

On Sunday we also met up at Peterley Manor to have brunch at its Wild Strawberry Cafe. It looked especially great this time as everything was foggy and misty! Perfect for the Halloween occasion! :)

Although it seemed everything was upside-down and had some issues with our ordered food due to them being super busy, all in all we had a good time. For me this was the first time here, but my friends are regulars and they confirmed that they never experienced this in the past. The food was good and our mulled apple juice was really tasty, which warmed us up in this cold weather.

Besides the atmosphere, it is also great for a big city girl to sometimes just go to these farms and experience the nature and agriculture from a British point of view with the manor, home grown and home-made products' tastes and smells.

This manor also has a shop and a nursery as well where they sell all sorts of things that grow on this farm or fits with the concept of a farm shop.
Prices vary as I found some things to be fairly cheap compared to London prices, but some other things were extremely costly.

Pumpkinfield

Happy Halloween Weekend dears! :)

The diet, of which you could see some images on Facebook, is over: 14 days...and minus 3 kilos! I am happy but this is only the start and now I have a purpose, why I need to get in shape. For now that's a secret, I will reveal that in some time, if I can. I really timed this diet well, because we had a big bash yesterday with my colleagues! Our team really became like a little family! :) and we usually organise a big night out every second months, to make sure everyone is available coming from Manchester and gathering the ex-colleagues too :) so yesterday it was a feast and lots of drinks! Party!

Any plans for the weekend? Trick or Treat? Party? Fancy dresses? After yesterday's party I would rather just have a more relaxed weekend and it seems this week I keep sleeping at my friends' places, because tonight I will also be going to a dinner party and we will even stay over for the night so tomorrow morning we can have a nice brekkie, I am hoping to bring photos of that too :)

But now here are some pictures from a big pumpkinfield, where we took some snaps randomly! I was driving when I saw the strong orange colour from far and when I realised it was a pumpkinfield, we stopped immediately and jumped out of the car to take some pictures! As you can see tractors were working on it on the day and I think they thought we were crazy taking photos in the middle of a pumpkin field! But hey it's just perfect for autumn and halloween!

If you also want to see more pumpkins here in London, then head off to Dalston Eastern Curve Garden. The Garden has been transformed into a carved pumpkin lantern field! You can still check them out today or tomorrow between 6pm - 10pm. :)

Velvet, a Halloween must have

Are you ready for Halloween? :) Spooky! If you don't want to get dressed as a monster or ghost then I think this dark red, burgundy velvet shirt is a great piece for reflecting the Halloween spirit. A bit macabre but still chic! And it's velvet too which is a big trend again this season! :) Well as we are getting into the festive season all shops are getting filled with darker colours and thicker materials like velvet :) You can find aplenty in River Island or in Topshop for different styles too, be it elegant or streetstyle and Zara even took a twist on it adding frills.

That's all for today, I am going back to work because I am on my lunch break now, but tonight I will go out with friends and eat a steak with no chips somewhere in the city. Only 2 more days and my fast diet will finish and then I will be back on the normal healthy eating :) maybe next week I will bring some foodie posts :)
And after the dinner? Going to a slumber party hahah! :) Well only to a small one, one of my besties and me only :) Hopefully watching a movie, laughing a lot but no pillow fight...or maybe yes? :)
