How is everyone? Isn't it great that we had a gorgeous sunny
Saturday yesterday? Hopefully today will be just as nice :)
Besides the many chocolates, biscuits, ice cream and other comfort
food I had in these past days, I tried to keep on top with the normal lunches, eating salmon, asparagus and beetroot! Love beetroot! Isn't it yummy? :) Especially...beetroot
hummus! And that is what I brought you today! :) It's really not difficult to make it and
thanks to its gorgeous fuchsia colour, it can really vamp your dishes up! :) Plus it's not only tasty, but very healthy as well!
What you need is:
- 2 medium sized beetroots + 2-4 cloves of garlic (I'm not a fan so I put less) in the oven until it's baked (40-50 minutes)
Into the blender in this order
- 400g tinned chickpeas
- 2 table spoons of almond butter (I also heard to put horseradish instead, but I haven't tried)
- 35g tahini
- lemon juice (half)
- 0.7dl olive oil
- roasted beetroots and garlic
- 0.7dl water
- salt and pepper
For decoration, you can use rosemary sprigs, more olive oil, pinenuts, beetroot slices, sesame seeds, chillies and whatever you think would go with it :)

Hogy vagytok? Hat nem csodas, hogy a tegnap egy ragyogo napsuteses szombat volt? Remelem ma is hasonlo lesz! :)
A sok csoki, keksz, jegkrem es mas edessegek mellett, amiket az utobbi par napban szinte tomtem magamba, azert a fo etkezesekre odafigyeltem es sok sok lazacot, spargat es ceklat ettem! Milyen erdekes kisebb koromban kirazott a hideg a ceklatol, ma meg majdnem minden napos az etrendemben :) Egyszoval imadom! :) Foleg amikor humuszkent keszitik el! NyamNyam! Es ennek a receptjet hoztam ma nektek! Hatha ti is kedvet kaptok :) Es azon kivul, hogy egeszseges es finom, meg az elenk ciklamen szineben is gyonyorkodhetunk, amely igazan feldobhatja az etelunket!
Mi is kell hozza:
- 2 kozepes meretu cekla + 2-4 gerezd fokhagyma (mivel en nem szeretem, ezert kevesebbet tettem bele) . Ezeket kb 40-50 percig sutjuk hejaban, amit majd csak akkor veszunk le amikora turmixba helyezzuk oket.
A turmixgepbe vagy apritogepbe kerulnek, ebben a sorrendben
- 400g fott, vagy konzerv csicseriborso
- 2 evokanal mandulavaj (daralt mandula is mehet, vagy akar tormakrem is mehet bele, bar azzal nem probaltam)
- 35g tahini (szezammagpure) boltokban mar kaphato Magyarorszagon is
- fel citrom leve
- 0.7dl oliva olaj
- a mar megsult cekla es fokhagyma
- 0.7dl viz
- so es bors izles szerint
Diszitesnek tehetunk ra rozmaring agat, meg tobb oliva olajat, fenyomagot, szezammagot, csili pelyhet vagy marmi mast amit szerettek es megy hozza :)
