London Lights Festival Lumiere#1

Have you missed the Lumiere London Light Show? Don't despair because today and tomorrow I bring you here most of its beauties!

Last weekend I was busy with my friends to discover all of the sites of the London Light show, which was organised the first time in London!
We could see these light parades around Europe for sure and in some of UK's other cities but never in the capital! But where else this is needed more than in the capital with all so vibrant population from all ages and background that really want to see them!

Finally in 2016 it hit us and left us amazed by its glory! Although it was super cold in London I ventured out all four days with the hope to see more of them and indeed we covered all areas, although missed 1 or 2 installations.

Here are a few tips if this cool free event happens again and you want to attend!

1. We found that Thursday, Friday and Sunday were manageable. On Saturday streets and installations were closed much earlier than they should have been due to crowding.

2. If there is one installation everybody talks about e.g. this time it was the Telephone Box/Fishtank in the Mayfair area, then make sure you start your journey from that point! Otherwise you will be sad as they closed it earlier or closed for certain times due to many people being there. This made us go back there 3 times for finally be able to check it out!

3. Don't let it put you off that people at the Mayfair installations were rude! Maybe the organisers will have to involve friendlier people, but just be prepared and then it should not spoil your adventure.

At the end of the Kings Cross Trail and if you collected the stamps at all stations, you could be rewarded with a candy floss on a glowing stick :) Pretty cool! Haha and most people were not sure if this was real candy floss or just some kind of a fun thing :D

The Oxford Circus installation by Janet Echelman was so cool! Does not it looks like a massive jelly fish above London? Or a ghost? Or some kind of an alien floating around?
