Our Christmas Party was on Thursday! Before the party, we had a new thing...an Annual Award Ceremony at the company...I was shortlisted also for the Best Support Role, but in the end I did not win...I was not sad, because I could not have competed against the guy who won it...well I thought he is not popular, but apparently he is very much so...and working in finance means that he worked with everyone...and I only work with a small team...anyhow...the only thing I wanted to win this award for was to show that my team is invaluable and it's time to recognise that! Yes...I really was prepared with an acceptance speech for just in case...
So back to the party....it had 1920s 'Flapper' style dresscode, but as I was sick, I could not really be bothered to dress up...so I just wanted to wear something warm where my back was covered, but I still wore a massive headpiece, which was the star of the evening as everyone wanted to touch it and asked where it was from! Well someone even said that my headpiece has even asked to be touched! Yes it was very feathery and fluffy!
We had lots of prosecco and as we did not have a Christmas dinner, we just had nibbles and pizzas, but the actual company Christmas Dinner will be next week! Well next week we will have so many Christmas Dinners and Lunches :)
Anyhow, December is not only the festive season, but the season of massive company Christmas Parties too :) therefore, I will bring some possible Christmas party dresses I would consider wearing :) This is number #1 :) I think tons of sequins are a must for this season, not only for 1920s but for any 2010s December Party! :) green is a colour that not everyone wants to wear, but these sequin dresses are not that ugly green, more like a mermaid tail green, and I think everyone should be happy putting it on herself! :) You can see besides the green some purple and bluish shades can be noticed as well :) This top/dress, everyone can wear it as they wish, was given to me by a great friend as she did not like it, but I purely love it! :) What do you think?
And shall I have my hair up or down?

Csutortokon volt a ceges karacsonyi partink, de a buli elott, meg egy ilyen eves dijatadas is volt a cegen belul kulonbozo kategoriakban...a Legjobb 'Supporting' Munkaero pozicioban (fuh nem tudom magyarra forditani :( - kb annyit jelent, hogy hatter dolgozo, nem pedig az aki a kliensekkel targyal, ebbe tartozik a projekt menedzsment (en is ez vagyok), a penzugy vagy az IT) en is jelolt voltam, ami azert is jo, mert a mi csapatunkbol, en voltam az egyetlen! Vegul egy penzugyes nyerte, de kesobb odajott hozzam az egyik elbiralo es mondta, hogy en lettem volna a kovetkezo...es hogy nagyon jo ajanlasokat kaptam, illetve nagyon szavazatot is. Nem voltam szomoru, hogy nem en nyertem, csak az lett volna jo, hogy ha nyertem volna, hogy meg tudtam volna mutatni, hogy milyen nagy szerepunk van abban, hogy mennyire siman menjen minden. Sajnos ez nem mindig erzodik...es kicsit elnyomottnak erezzuk magunkat a projekt menedzsment csapatban.
Szoval vissza a bulihoz! 1920-as evek 'A nagy Gatsby' stilusu volt, de egesz heten alig eltem olyan beteg voltam, igy nem nagyon tudtam azzal foglalkozni, hogy feloltozzek es inkabb csak egy szimpla fekete bluzban es nadragban voltam, ami melegen tartott :) de azert ismertek...csak feltettem egy szuper fekete-ciklamen, nagy tollas fejdiszt, ami az est sztraja lett, mivel mindenki meg akarta erinteni, meg mindenkivel az volt a nyito temam, hogy honnan vettem. Valaki meg mondta is, hogy ez szinte keri maganak, hogy megerintsek :) hihi.
Jo sok prosecco volt, de vacsora nem, csak ilyen falat kajak meg pizza volt, de az igazi vacsi az majd meg ezen a heten lesz. Egyebkent ez a het tele lesz ceges karacsonyi ebedekkel es vacsikkal! :)
Egyebkent itt Londonban a december a nagy karacsonyi bulikrol szol! Minden ceg probalja leszervezni...es minel kesobb tartjak, vagyis minel kozelebb a 24-hez, annal jobban megy a cegnek...illetve ha penteken tartjak nem csutortokon vagy mas napon, akkor az is ilyen statusz, hogy a cegnek jol megy. Na mindegy a party szezonra raterve, ugy terveztem, hogy hozok nektek par ruhat amelyeket akar a karacsonyi partyra vagy eppen a karacsonyi vacsihoz is fel lehet venni.
Az elso ruha ez a zold millio flitteres darab! Az egyik baratnomtol kaptam aki nem szerette, de en imadom! :) A Topshopban lehetett ilyet kapni es szerintem nagyon tuti, hogy nem csunya zold, hanem kicsit lilas es kekes arnyalatok is vannak benne ha eppen ugy esik ra a feny. Ti mit gondoltok? Jo vagy nem? Es szerintetek felteve vagy leengedve jobb a hajam?
