A friendly weekend :)

Recently I have been shopping a lot online, offline, from stores and from second hand stores as well! My newest additions are 3 pairs of jeans and 2 tops and some accessories.

But this weekend I met some of my old friends to buy stuff for them and not for myself, although I have seen a gorgeous little clutch bag in TK Maxx, but did not want to pay 70£ for a no name brand, even though I fell for it immediately...I may sneak back in again to check it out later...

Luckily after a successful shopping for sunglasses and chutneys ahaha we were just wondering and laughing a lot in Covent Garden :) A well deserved coffee or tea in Timberyard(been planning for at least a year to  take photos of this place and show you peeps) then I came up with the idea to take some photos of me since I bought a new shirt too from H&M! :) and as my friends 'LOVE' taking photos of me. Actually they don't like it because they love the pics I don't and I love the pics they don't...never any agreement, so with all the random and not so random pics, we were just constantly laughing and making jokes :)

I'll show you more pictures to you about the stripy shirt tomorrow! :)

And I needed to upload this first pictures, because we were laughing like this for hours :) and this is exactly one of those photos they like and I don't! Well let me know if you like it or not! Hahahaha!

Drinkies with friends in Vista at the Trafalgar

Hello dear Sentimentals,

This weekend was so warm in London J however since I had the cold for almost two weeks, I did not go to a BBQ party with some lovely people! But on Sunday I went to Vista, a rooftop bar on the top of the Trafalgar Hotel, with beautiful views over the square with Nelson’s column. It has a pretty nice view over London including the Big Ben, London Eye and the Shard J Since our always-thought-strong-relationship with some of my friends seem to be breaking up, I am spending more time with other great friends! This time I met Chris and Phoebe from uni there…only to meet some more people from uni J What a coincidence! We were seated to one of the tables, when I recognised  Kota from uni. We kind of always bump into each other, but they have left pretty soon and it was just us girls talking about the big questions of life! Stay or leave! Boys or rather men! Studies and jobs! Of course with lots of laughs and lovely moments as well!

Places like Vista are among many other reasons to stay in this fantastic city J we stayed until closing time and just had a really nice time with amazing cocktails! Of course pricier, compared to the more ‘literally down-to-earth bars’ but it’s on par with the other rooftops like Sushisamba or Aqua. Nice atmosphere with nice people around! You would think it’s a rather posh place, but the people were just lovely and friendly, not pretentious at all! It was a good crowd of young and old, boygroups and girlgroups, couples, singles and people from around or the actual guests! J

It has an L-shape and when you enter try to have a seat towards the left side, otherwise there is no view. The good thing is though that either the place is not as well-known or it is usually like this, but it was not so busy and we could just walk around! Enjoy the views over London's rooftops. A slight breeze that stroked our hair and faces while sipping our drinkies and just be content that we are here J Uni is over for me, and for Chris and Phoebe only the dissertation is left! I understand they are stressed about it, but it was a good relaxing night for us!

Our drinkies were the up and coming Aperol Spritz, Purify and Bondi! We did not eat there but saw the burgers and platters and they looked mouth-wateringly delicious too!

I mentioned in the previous post that last weekend I went to Harrods for the last day of it sale and this peach colour top I am wearing on the pictures is from there J It’s Michael Kors which I don’t particularly like, because everybody has that bag, but this top was love at first sight and because it has Kashmir as well, it is so good to touch, so smooth and velvety J

Gorgeous brunch in London's public toilets

Hello again Sentimentals! J

Great news! It seems summer wants to stay in England! J

This weekend was good! Having brunch with George and then visiting Harrods for its last days of sale. Well, first of all let’s see what and where we had for brunch! You may be amazed by the creativity and thoughts of some people, but I would have never thought we were going to this place to have brunch when I first saw the pictures of the foodie there.

We got off at Great Portland street and headed towards Oxford street, then we turned onto Langham street, we walked a bit when I was still eagerly looking at my phone for location, when George said “Ahh! It’s here!” I was turning my head left and right scanning the buildings on the sides, but could not see it anywhere, but it was just in front of us! Don’t expect a fancy building for the Attendant in Fitzrovia, although it looks fancy and very Victorian, it is in a toilet! Yes! You read it right! have you ever thought or imagined having brunch in a toilet??? Well some quirky minds have!

It’s in an unused public toilet! But what a good idea! I mean if you are not fussy, I am sure the peeps gave a good scrub and now the place looks like a nice hip café…with the 100 years old water tanks on the walls, spiraled around with bright green plant...fake though but still looks good!

And once you are over the fact that you are literally eating from the standing urinals, it is a very pleasant experience! Ok it is not so dramatic! There is a board installed there J The atmosphere was good too! Not surprisingly, many people think this is cool and not to the contrary! It was full and I totally can understand it because their brunch what we had was really yummy!

George went for the Smashed Avo on Toast with Poached Eggs and I had one of their signature dishes, the: Vanilla and Passion Fruit French Toast! Not sure from what initiative but I asked it with poached eggs too! I should not have because it is very nice and big enough without the egg! Although it was yummy too!

There is a small counter and it seemed they make everything fresh right there. There are also some croissants, cookies, brownies or salads if you want to choose that, the staff was very friendly and I am sure they would happily do whatever your tastebuds are after! Nice laid back people with a natural smile on their face! J

It's a nice little artisan Café/eatery with their home made lemonade and juices in a quirky place, with someone being innovative behind this whole set up. J Big Thumbs Up for the idea! If all abandoned buildings in London were used for Cafes or for living, we would have a less of a problem of housing issues in this big city.

Let me know if you know other quirky places! J
